Here is a wonderful Saltglaze Boston Baked Bean Crock. It has large scrolling letters on one side of crock which says "Boston Baked Beans" while on the other side has a cluster of flowing leaves. The lid fits securely and has a round knob finial. Stands approx. 8" to top of lid. Condition is wonderful no chips or cracks, has crazing on inside of crock and inside of lid, has the standard bubble holes in the glaze particularly in lid. Has a glaze line separation like a "Y" on top of lid approx. 1/2" end to end. (I can email picture). Great blue coloring throughout. I understand that these crocks were used in candy stores and held the boston baked bean candies. Very nice collector item. Please email for pictures.
